“Here at the end of the world….., again.”

Matthew 24: 4-13

And Yeshua answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

So here we are *insert ominous music*…., the birth of ‘the empire’. This is when Obi-Wan Kenobi cues the Jedi to go into hiding because the Sith is on the rise. I can hear Yoda say in the background, “Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering……, Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny. Consume you it will.” Yoda also goes on to remind the Jedi that throughout history there have been many “endings” but there is always hope. It’s part of the Jedi’s mission to be a vessel of this ‘hope’ that Yoda talks about.

Fear, hate and uncertainty fill the air here in our country. Everything that people believed and thought they knew is now being challenged by forces beyond the senses. Structures are crumbling. Family turns against family. False prophets are appearing to preach to itching ears. Yeshua said these things were to come. If we have studied to show ourselves approved, then we know that we have arrived.

If you have the eyes to “see” and the ears to “hear” then you know that you have a role to play in this story that’s playing out in this part of the Universe. Just as the Jedi are ‘force sensitive’, there are those that know they have a call to stand up against the Sith. The Jedi were in hiding and spread out among the Universe but found each other by listening to ‘the force”.  They were vibrating on the same frequency and slowly started to gravitate towards each other.

As we enter this spiritually tumultuous epoch, it’s important to know who we are. What we are. What side will we be on. As inscribed above the entrance to the Temple of Apollo in Delphi, as I just stated, one must “know thyself”. Sometimes fear can cloud our judgement, manipulating our minds leading to more uncertainty about where we stand and who we are. Fear kicks our nervous system into fight or flight causing us to do things out of character leading us onto other timelines that we normally wouldn’t have taken. That’s why Yoda was so adamant on the dangers of fear taking roots within you.

In times of fear and uncertainty, the most powerful act is to turn inward and truly know who you are. When the world around us feels chaotic, grounding ourselves in self-awareness becomes a beacon of light. But what does it mean to “know thyself”? It means understanding your values, beliefs, strengths, and even your shadows. It’s about recognizing your unique role in the grand story unfolding around you.

There are many ways to guide yourself into your own truth. First, create space for stillness in your daily life. Whether it’s through meditation, journaling, or quiet moments in nature, give yourself time to connect with your inner self. Knowing what truly matters to you helps anchor your decisions and actions. Write down your top five values and consider how they align with your current life. Shadow work can also be a huge help on this journey. Facing the parts of yourself that you avoid is essential to self-awareness and growth. When you confront your fears, insecurities, and unhealed wounds, you gain freedom from their control. Shadow work also helps us get in tune with our own inner voice, our intuition. Like the Jedi attuning into the Force, learn to trust your intuition. Quiet the external noise and listen to your inner wisdom.  Knowing yourself is not just about introspection, it’s about aligning your actions with your truth. Stand firm in your identity, even when faced with challenges.

In these uncertain times, remember that you have the power to protect your mind, stay grounded, and rise above fear and chaos. Just as the Jedi drew strength from the Force, you too can tap into your inner light and divine connection to stand firm against the darkness. Be mindful of what you consume. Anchor yourself in the present moment to connect with your body and mind. Choose love over fear when it feels overwhelming. Be a light in the dark and that starts with living in your authenticity. They say that authenticity is the highest vibration. The Jedi found each other by listening to the force and tuning in to its vibration. I’m sure when the end of the republic finally came, the Jedi snickered and said within themselves, “I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me”.
