“Energy doesn’t lie”

At its core, energy is the invisible force that connects and animates everything in the universe. It’s in the sunlight that warms your skin, the emotions you feel, and even the thoughts that cross your mind. Everything, from the smallest atom to the vastness of the cosmos, carries energy.

Vibration, on the other hand, is the rhythm or frequency at which energy moves. Imagine throwing a pebble into a pond—those ripples are like vibrations, spreading outward and influencing everything they touch. In the same way, the energy we emit creates waves that interact with the people and spaces around us.

Science supports this concept, too. In quantum physics, particles behave more like waves of energy than solid objects, emphasizing that the essence of everything is vibrational. From a spiritual perspective, this idea translates into the belief that our emotions, intentions, and actions have a measurable energetic impact on the world. Wi-Fi is a good example to bridge the gap between science and spirituality.  Just like how energy can transfer between people through emotions or intentions, Wi-Fi signals transfer information through invisible waves, constantly moving and interacting with the environment. The router emits these electromagnetic waves, and your device picks them up, allowing you to access the internet.

We can apply this example to how energy is transferred between people. In a similar way, the vibrations we emit as humans, whether through thoughts, intentions, emotions, or physical actions—can influence the space around us, creating connections and exchanges that are felt, even if we can’t see them. Have you ever felt drained by a negative person after an argument or even after being in their presence for a prolonged period of time?  People such as this can be likened to what we call an “energy Vampire”. Energy vampires are individuals who drain the life force or energy from others, often without even realizing it. They may do this through constant negativity, emotional manipulation, or by demanding excessive attention and support. Over time, being around an energy vampire can leave you feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or depleted. The opposite can be said about people who are highly positive and have their own reserves of energy.

It’s important to assess how our own energy affects our relationships, our workplace and our homes. On an individual level, from our thoughts to our emotional states, we create ripples through the ether that have an effect. I’m currently reading a book, “Dispelling Wetiko”, and it talks about how even our own thoughts regarding another person can affect them either adversely or positively.

What I want my readers to take from this is to make it a daily task to protect and enhance your energy by doing daily techniques such as grounding, visualization, meditation, and being strict about your own boundaries. Other techniques might include practicing gratitude every day and even trying Reiki to enhance your energetic vibration. Self-awareness is key in all of this. By being self-aware of your own energy and setting clear limits, you can prevent your energy from being drained, allowing you to maintain your balance and well-being.
