On February 4, 2025, ICE and U.S. Marshals showed up at Cassandra Gregorio’s home, claiming they were looking for her ex-husband, Jose Vazquez. But they already knew where he was—because they had already detained him. This wasn’t a search; it was harassment.
Let’s go back to 2023. Jose was investigated for an incident, but he was cleared of any wrongdoing. During that time, law enforcement manipulated Cassandra into filing a stolen vehicle report against her own husband, even though they knew he hadn’t stolen anything. It was just a way to detain him.
Fast forward to now—Bibb County has arrested Jose over that same coerced stolen vehicle charge. He’s currently being held in jail under false charges while battling severe health issues, including renal failure. Instead of receiving proper medical care, jail officials removed a surgically placed dialysis port and inserted a chemo port in his chest without consent. His health is deteriorating.
This video exposes the corruption of law enforcement—their abuse of power, their willingness to gaslight and intimidate women and children, and the inhumane treatment of Hispanic individuals like Jose. Cassandra is fighting to raise $4,070 to post his bond and get him the medical care he desperately needs. If you stand against this injustice, please donate and share his story.
